Jamais Vu
From AcademicBlogs
Jamais Vu / Thoughts on Cinema and Media in a Post-Film Culture is a film and media blog run by Jason Sperb, who recently completed a PhD in Communication and Culture from Indiana University. He is the author of The Kubrick Facade (2006) and co-editor of Cinephilia in the Age of Digital Reproduction (2009), as well as numerous academic articles. The name jamais vu (the feeling of something new within the experience of the familiar) serves as a parable for the process of writing and rewriting new ideas about film and media.
